NORMA J. JACKSON PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be a minority student with superior scholastic achievement

  2. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  3. Applicant must possess leadership potential and good character.

TIFFANY N. MATTHEWS PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be a student attending, or wishing to attend a HBCU

  2. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or above

  3. Applicant must be involved in at least one extra-curricular activity or employed

  4. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  5. Applicant must reside in New Castle County, Delaware

RHONEISE BARNETT-SMITH, MD PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be already accepted to or currently matriculating in an accredited four year university

  2. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater

  3. Applicant must show outstanding leadership throughout their student career

  4. Applicant must demonstrate a passion for service in their community

VONYÉ (HACKETT) NELSON HOWARD HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP

  1. Applicant must be a Howard High School of Technology graduating senior

  2. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher

  3. Applicant must be entering a Business/Finance/Technology degree program

  4. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  5. Applicant must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and a passion for community service

DR. YVONNE BARNETT PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be a student with an education major

  2. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  3. Applicant must be a current Senior in a Delaware High School

TAMIKA DAVIS-CANNON PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be a student entering a Science-related field

  2. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.2 or above

  3. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  4. Applicant must reside in New Castle County, Delaware

DR. YVONNE BARNETT STEM SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  1. Applicant must be an underrepresented minority with a 3.0 GPA or higher, with a STEM major

  2. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  3. Applicant must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership and a passion for community service

  4. Applicant must reside in the state of Delaware

  1. Education major preferred

  2. Applicant may have a GPA of 2.7 or above

  3. Applicant must be a student attending, or accepted at a HBCU accredited college or university

  4. Applicant should show leadership throughout thier student career

  1. Applicant must be a student wishing to attend a HBCU

  2. Applicant must have good attendance and an excellent behavior record

  3. Applicant must have a GPA of 2.0 or above

  4. Applicant must already be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university

  1. Applicant must be a female high school senior

  2. Applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or above

  3. Application must be accepted at a two-year or four-year post-secondary institution

  4. Applicant must reside in New Castle County, Delaware

  5. Applicant must have completed “She Rises Certification”
